Private Goat Keeping Class

This is a private two hour goat keeping class for one or two people ...

Here at Curly Goat Ranch we raise Angora fiber goats and Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats. 

I'm happy to tailor a class for up to two hours that covers your specific interests. 

This time will allow you to meet and interact with the breed or breeds you're interested in.

For dairy goats we can cover the basics and give you an introduction to milking goats and the products that can be produced with goat milk. 

For fiber goats we can cover the basics and I can give you a sample of mohair and we can cover all the products that can be made with their fiber. 

Please note - this class will not cover the specifics of full size dairy goats or the processing of goats for human consumption as we do not raise meat goats. 

Also, please understand that many topics involved in goat keeping could be a two hour class on their own. This won't teach you everything there is to know about goats but is meant as a starting point.

If there is a specific topic you would like help with I can also tailor a class based on your needs. Some topics might include how to trim hoofs, how to milk a miniature goat, how to shear an Angora goat, how to milk test your herd, how to look up ADGA pedigrees and milk records online, etc.
